Business development and SICP invite you to the Paderborn IT reception
The SICP - Software Innovation Campus Paderborn, in cooperation with the Paderborn Economic Development Agency, invites you to this year's Paderborn IT Reception. The event will take place on Thursday, 22 May 2025, at 5 p.m. at Zukunftsmeile 2 in Paderborn and is aimed at entrepreneurs from the IT sector and all interested parties.
Under the title "The importance of artificial intelligence, entrepreneurial spirit and transatlantic opportunities", Thomas Neubert will report from his start in Paderborn in East Westphalia to the executive floors of Silicon Valley at Intel, Deutsche Telekom and as founder of the "Transatlantic AI eXchange".
He not only provides insights into global AI trends, but also sheds light on how we can turn our supposed weaknesses into competitive advantages through a self-confident approach if we have the courage to leave the much-cited "German Angst" behind us.
A particular focus is on the question of what role Germany and Europe can play in the global AI competition. This is not just about the use of AI to increase efficiency and reduce costs in traditional industrial sectors such as mechanical engineering or the automotive industry, but also about ethical and social aspects: How can we use European values such as data protection, security and human-centred technology as a strength while promoting the agile innovation culture that is often more dominant in North America?
In addition to the keynote speech, the IT reception offers the opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded people, decision-makers and experts from business, science and administration.
